En el mes de Diciembre 2014 fui invitada a participar con el diseño de un fondo para el CONTENEDOR DE ANIMACIÓN MEXICANA, loop de animaciones proyectadas en el CENTRO CULTURAL DIGITAL de la ciudad de México. 

Las animaciones e ilustraciones fueron comisionadas a más de 40 artistas de la escena de animación mexicana.

CONTENEDOR DE ANIMACIÓN MEXICANA. Los ciclos y el ritmo son elementos inherentes de la animación. Tomando la repetición como tema central se genera una gran pieza colaborativa entre mas de 40 prominentes autores de animación de los últimos años en México.

En la pantalla cohabitan personajes, formas abstractas, experimentos e imágenes que nos presentan el mundo fantástico de la animación mexicana contemporánea y permanece como documento que contiene las inquietudes, tendencias y miradas de nuestra animación en el 2014.

The Beach in Stop Motion

It was the Spring of 2009 and Hiroshi had promised we were gonna shoot a stop motion film in the shores of the San Francisco Bay.

He took me were the water sings and the clouds move to the beat of slow cool wind. As soon as we arrived we started shooting with no story in our heads but suddenly all the frames fell into place...
