Fiesta del Gallo

El segundo mural para Nueve Arte Urbano:

Una ilustración sobre la Fiesta del Gallo: cada 8 de diciembre la gente sale a la calle para desfilar al sonido de la banda hasta la iglesia del lugar, donde celebran la misa de la Purísima Concepción. Los vecinos de Hércules bailan entre estrellas y gallos de papel como se hace desde 1875.

Agradecimiento a la familia Arilia que me dejó hacer el mural en su casa; a Rosy y Mae que ayudaron a fondear...

Here is the second mural I did the urban art festival: Nueve Arte Urbano:

A depiction of the neighborhood's festivity Fiesta del Gallo: celebrated every December 8th, the people of Hercules dance on the streets with roosters and stars made out of paper mache to celebrate a and honor the Virgin of the Copcepcion. 

 

Big thanks to the family Arilia cuz they allowed me to paint their walls; to my friends Rose and Mae cuz they helped me cover all in blue...
